Lots of Babies today

Last night was a short night, so I am beat and ready for bed!  I checked on Salsa, the doe ready to kid, at 10 and midnight, then got up at 3 and she was just starting labor.  I stayed with her until almost 5 before getting back to bed.  It was a good time though........in the quiet of the night watching one of God's best miracles happen!  She had twins a buck and a doe and all went very well. 

I worked outdoors all day today, it was a pretty nice day.  Just came in now at almost 10 and it is just beautiful outdoors now!   Would be a great night to sit around a camp fire.

Our little Sophie dog had puppies this afternoon........... not exactly a planned pregnancy!   We just noticed a couple of weeks ago that she was getting fat, Oh No!  Not completely sure who the proud father is??  She is an English Shepherd and such a great dog!   I believe there are 7 live puppies and 1 that didn't make it.  I will check them out better tomorrow and I am sure I will have some pictures coming soon.  Anyone want a puppy?????
