Featuring Nick and Lucky
We finally made it.........we really did............Spring is officially here!!!! Wow, it has been such a long and bad winter, not only for us here, but for most of the country I think. Some have had it much worse than us. Today was a lovely day, about 70 degrees, my only complaint was the wind, but it is March.
I headed to Topeka this morning to pick up Grandson Nick and take him on a 4-H field day. We ate pizza first, that is one of my favorite foods and I don't get it very often, so that was good with me. We then visited a cupcake shop, the kids got to decorate their own cupcake, they had a good time.
He came home with me for a few days since he is on Spring break. He used to spend quite a bit of time here, but now that he is in school it is harder. This is his first year in 4-H and one of his projects is meat goat. His project is going to be a little goat born here in December, he had named him Lucky, but had not been here to meet him yet. So as soon as we got home today he headed for the goat pen to get to know Lucky!
