Sharing our youngest Granddaughter

I have been writing about our goat babies, but this is about our beautiful Grandbaby!  Last year I had a thing on the side of my blog with a due date and the developmental stages according to that.  By the time our little bundle arrived I had gotten busy and taken time off from my blog.  So, finally I wanted to share the arrival with you all.

The due date was June 10, but I was so in hopes she would arrive on June 13, which is my birthday!  Not to be, she was born on June 18, 2007.  Her very own day, which is special too.  DIL was induced in the morning and she arrived that evening.  We were on our way to the hospital, but she got there first.  We walked in and there was a little bundle already, what a surprise!   I knew the name that had been picked out, but I kept quite a good secret.........they honored my Mom by using her name as the middle name, and she was certainly surprised and pleased!  So, Madelyn Corinne had joined the family!

 Two months old............

 Six months.........Christmas at my Mom's house.   My Mother, Nicholas our 8 year old grandson, my oldest son Ryan, myself holding Madelyn, Kaylan our 4 year old grand daughter, and my youngest son Rlyn.  The little one's mamas and Dh were on the other side of the room taking pictures.

And here she is at almost 9 months already.  This was taken one of the nice days we had this week.
