Long day

It seems like this has been a long day, I am extremely tired tonight.  I am getting the bath water ready now and after a nice soak, I am headed to bed.....early for me.  I have already done the goat girl check and hope and pray that no one kids tonight as it is 10 degrees outside! 

Robin and her baby are snuggled under the heat lamp and .........Star had a little doeling this afternoon and they are doing fine.  None of the other girls look any closer as of now, so again I just pray they will wait until tomorrow when it is warmer!!  I have not taken a picture of Star and her little one yet.

Dh helped me today clear out all of the "stuff"  in the closet I mentioned needing cleaning!  Thank you!  That was what I needed to get started.  I put a lot of things in boxes and have them on shelves in the end of the closet, have a good sized pile of old papers to burn, and some throw away too.  Made quite a dent in the mess!  Now to start on the other side, it isn't nearly as big, but I have it stuffed to overflowing too!  As I had said in an earlier post, this is the only closet in the house.  The side we cleaned today is about 6 foot long and 2 foot wide, there are shelves across the end and 2 rods for hanging clothes in front of that, and a lot of floor space.  There is a doorway that goes from the living room to what was my bedroom as a child, but now our office, through the closet.  Then on the other side of the door, there are shelves too, that is our next project............hopefully since one side looks so nice that will inspire me to get started on the other side soon!

It was very cold here today, when I came in from chores it was 7 degrees wind chill!  I had to get the pitch fork going and clean out one birthing pen to be ready for the next doe that will need to move in.  I was out of the wind at least so it wasn't bad doing that, just a lot of work!

I am off to the tub.................Good night.
