Grandson a TV star

I came in from doing chores this afternoon and found a message on the answering machine.

"Grandma can you watch tv at 5 or 6 tonight cause they came to my class at school today.  This is Nicholas."

Well, Grandma quickly called Great Grandma to tell her, he had called her too but they got cut off so she didn't know why he had called.

Sure enough there was a short feature showing his class loading a truck with food supplies they had gathered for some project, honestly, I was so intent on watching for him I don't remember what they were donating to.........anyway, almost at the very end of the segment there was Nicholas!  Yeah, so cute!! Our little TV star of the day!

Just had to share that little bit of news with you this evening.

Aww, that's sweet. Did anyone tape it? I imagine he would get a kick out of seeing himself on the news. :)

Grandkids are tops around here. I can just imagine the thrill you must have gotten seeing yours on TV!
