I am Alive and Well again finally! Prayer request!

When there are so many things on the list to do, you just think they have to be done or else.......well, you know what, they don't!  I found this week that life goes on anyway. 

Wow, I woke up Sunday morning with a scratchy throat, by 2 pm I was in bed and that was it for the week!  Actually, I only had to deal with the throat for a few hours, not much of a runny nose either, which I am thankful for.  I just literally had the flu!  I could not move and didn't care, no energy at all.  This went on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday..........finally Friday I thought I might live??  I wanted nothing to eat, my tummy wasn't upset, but nothing sounded like I could eat it either.  Friday I was able to get some pudding down and some chicken broth tasted good that night.  This morning, Saturday, I woke up feeling much better!!!   Thank you Lord!  I have been up and around all day and not even feeling too tired now this evening.  This is the first time I have even felt like checking in at the computer at all all week.

The bad news, Dh has it now, I feel so sorry for him!  He took such good care of me for days, he doesn't deserve to be sick too!   It is scary too, because he has serious heart problems and we are afraid every winter that he will get a virus which is what caused his heart troubles originally 5 years ago.  It left him with his heart only functioning at 10% at that time!  It has improved greatly since then and we have so much to be thankful for!!   He has been on  disability since then.  So, that is a little background on his condition, I would ask that you would please remember him in prayer when you read this, for protection of his heart and for him to quickly recover without other damage.  Thank you friends so much.  He has had his flu and pneumonia shots, however this has really gotten ahold of him anyway.  We are keeping an eye on him thinking pneumonia, and may be making a trip to the ER in the near future??

The weather is nasty tonight, raining and snow is on the way.........again!

I found a baby goat this morning, it was alive, but born early and didn't make it.  This same doe, Opal,  had hers early last year, so I guess she will be going to the sale barn.........We can't feed her year after year with no productivity.  Jasmine seemed to be looking closer this afternoon, so I am going to bundle up and run out and check on her now before bed.  I really didn't think I would have to do that for a couple more weeks, but I sure would rather be safe than sorry.  Too many times it is, I sure wish I had checked, or if I would have just gone out and checked..................so off I go.

Thanks for the advice about the goat! I'm sorry you had the flu-Its been over two weeks since I "caught" it and I'm still dragging myself around. I'll send prayers you way. I enjoyed reading your blog-blessings>faithfarm
