Banquet tonight

The Valentine Banquet at church was this evening.  On the menu:  Pork Loin, baked potato, veggie mix (cauliflower, brocolli, carrots) roll with honey/cinnamon butter, and cherry cheese cake for dessert.  It went very well, not quite as big a crowd as we planned for..........so some leftovers!  Several families had other things planned and were not able to attend.  There were so many faithful workers that made the serving and clean up go smoothly, thanks to all!   I am sure everyone was like us and ready to go home and relax!

I did chores this morning while Dh went in to start cooking at church.  So it has been several hours since I checked on all of my "babies".   I am heading out to make rounds and then straight to bed!

Got a message that there is a birthday party planned tomorrow for our Granddaughter, not sure if we will be able to make it.
