Today.........

Not really much to talk about this evening.  Still moving kind of slow because of the sore back, however it is so much better!  I am very thankful!  After sitting around for 2 days, I was able to do some laundry and a few things in the kitchen today.  I think my back is more sore from sitting than the original problem?  (See a couple of posts back concerning my encounter with my goats)

We went to pick up some things this evening for the banquet coming up.  Our church is hosting a Valentine Banquet on Saturday night, the proceeds will go to the building fund. We are in charge of preparing the food.......mostly Dh, I am the helper!  It will be fun, but the next couple of days will be busy.

I also have to bake a pie in the morning for a lady in town.  I do a lot of baking in the summer, and every so often someone calls with a special order this time of year.  I enjoy making pies, it seems like it is almost a lost art these days.   People think it is hard to do.

Dh started some radish and lettuce seed in the greenhouse.............it is already coming up!!!  Exciting! He also planted some herbs, but I don't  think they have started to appear yet.  The snow is melting and making things such a mess under foot, it is hard to imagine it will ever be warm enough or dry enough to plant a garden.  But I am sure soon enough it will be 100 degrees and we will be praying for rain!

Someone is to come in the morning to pick up a few little goats that we are selling.  It will be sad as I originally planned to keep these little girls for breeding and have become attatched to them, but they have not grown as much as we would have hoped, so we might as well sell them and use that money for feed or to purchase a couple of bigger does to replace them.  Also a little extra cash would be nice to stock up on wormer and some other supplies we will need soon for the goats.  There is always a "need" list it seems.
