Special Scripture

I was pleased to see Jeremiah 29:11 on my blog today as the featured scripture!  That has been special to me many times over the years and always gives me a peaceful feeling when I read it or hear it.  I have a picture with it hanging in our bathroom beside the mirror, so not only do we see it everyday, but anyone who visits I hope is blessed by it also.

No new goat babies today, maybe tomorrow??

I did pick up our newest little homestead bunny this afternoon.  He doesn't have a name yet, I am thinking of having a "Name the Bunny" contest amongst the grandkids.  A friend and neighbor raises Lionhead rabbits, she knew I was wanting to get one for a pet and called last week to say that she had one for us.  He had a hard time when he was born in the coldest weather, and has had some eye problems and ended up being blind in one eye.  That doesn't matter to me, as he is to be a pet for the Grandkids to enjoy. Since he had problems she had played with him a lot, so he is friendly and  is so cute, I must get a picture to share with you!

Since it was cold again today, I decided it was time for a pot of veggie soup!  There was a small amount of hamburger needing to be used in the fridge, so I started adding everything I could find to it and the finished product is my favorite  soup............Yummy!!
