St. David's Day
Today, March 1, is St. David's Day! This is special to me because of my Welsh heritage. It is celebrated here in town with a "tea" that is well attended each year. Stone cakes and hot tea are served, and Welsh folks and friends enjoy visiting around tables decorated with cheerful yellow daffodils which is the flower of Wales. Here is a link to some information about the flag and emblems of Wales if you are interested.
Dh had Dr. appointments today, so I was not able to attend this year. We did enjoy lunch and did some shopping at Michaels which has a new store in the area that we had not checked out before. We got some soap making supplies.
We are starting the goat baby watch again as we have a doe due tomorrow and then several more to follow this month.
Yesterday was such a warm day, 73 degrees!! Then last night we had tornado warnings for our immediate area...........Yikes, the radar on TV showed an area of possible rotation right over us, but Praise the Lord we hardly had any storm at all. Just some small hail and rain. Then this morning we had snow and wind chills again just like winter time, what a drastic change!
God's blessings on you, yours and the work of your hands.
