You may remember that closet I was trying to clean out............well, I got a few more things down from the top shelf today.  About that time, I had to leave for the afternoon, so another unfinished project!  Maybe tomorrow..........we will see.  I do have 2 bags of clothes ready to go to their new home, so that is progress.

I help a friend out a couple of days a week when the weather permits, which it hasn't for almost a month, until today.  She wanted me to come over this afternoon and I plan to go again on Thursday this week.  She has a farm/ranch and raises goats. She lives alone and needs help with chores and extra things that need done around the place.  We have been friends for 3-4 years and she approached me last fall with the idea of a part time job helping her out.  Well, we enjoy visiting and working together, and you know I love to take care of goats.........add that with needing the extra $$ and it is the perfect part time job!  Thank you J.

Dh was busy today helping a neighbor sort cattle and take some to the vet.  He will also be helping him again tomorrow.  He was exhausted when he got home.  His back hurts him most of the time and the neighbor's back has been bothering him the past couple of weeks......so they made quite a pair I am sure!  We are thrilled to be able to help him as he puts up hay for us and comes and moves big bales whenever we need them.  He does a lot for us, and we don't often have the opportunity to return the favors.  I do bake him a pie every once in a while which he seems to enjoy.  A funny thing as this fellow is very quiet and folks around town don't think he talks to anyone, however he is friendly as can be to us and very neighborly!  Mom can't get over it, because he was her neighbor for years and never was friendly to them, still rents hay ground from her and never speaks to her about it at all?
