Bible Study Suggestions?

Just coming in from the barn.......no, no babies yet........I really enjoy being outside on a night like this.  It is  cold, but the moon is shining and a little fresh snow fell this evening and it is beautiful out!  There is such a stillness on a winter night.  Most people I suppose do not experience that feeling.  That stillness combined with the sounds of a new mother and her baby are hard to describe, certainly makes me feel very close to God!  Birth, what a miracle!!

My Mom thinks that I am a bit off when I tell her that I do not mind getting up and going out in the middle of the night, she doesn't understand, but she knows me and my love for the animals.  Now I will admit that when just waking up in a warm bed at 3am, the first thought of getting up and getting dressed and going out in single digit weather is not really that appealing...but I honestly don't mind once my feet hit the floor.

Today  is the Birthday for 3 in our family.  It seems unusal that there would be that many on the same day.  A Grand daughter, Great grandson, and Son's girlfriend.  Happy Birthday Alexis, Elijah and Kylie!

I have been thinking today of  organizing a Bible study group.   Does anyone have a suggestion for a book to follow that they have enjoyed?  I would like it to be something simple, with lots of discussion, along the lines of  home.....wife, mother, keeping of the home, etc.  It would only be once a month, so something that could be incorporated with a fun fellowship time.  We had something similar a few years ago and I enjoyed it so much, so I was led today to try it again.  I think spending time with other women for some "girl" time is so important for all of us.

You could use Proverbs 31.
Do a deep word study on the original Hebrew words to get the real meaning out of the passage. Take the 31 verses and divide them by 6 (5 verses a month) that way you can really dig deep.

It has so much wisdom pertaining to everyday life.
My oldest daughter and I are studying it now.
