Relaxing Sunday
It has been a very relaxing Sunday afternoon and evening here. It did snow all afternoon yesterday and we got about 5 inches. The road grader came at 6:30 this evening. We could have gotten out if need be, but just stayed home instead. We were disappointed to miss Grand daughter's 3rd birthday party......but made plans to get together one evening this week, so that will be fun.
I spent way too much time on here visiting the Random Blogs, I really enjoy doing that, and feel like I have met some great new friends!
We ate breakfast really late, so lunch was kind of iffy. I put steak and baked potatoes in the oven late afternoon, and when I got in from chores it was ready.....nice!
I knit and then felt wool hats. I made several winter before last, and had such fun doing it. My Aunt wanted one, so she purchased the yarn last fall and brought it when she came at Christmas time. I started that this week and worked on it some this evening. It is very close to being done with the knitting, then just takes a short time to felt. I will try to post a picture when finished. It is a very pretty dark green color.
I noted something interesting to me tonight in the goat pen. They have two paths from the barn to the hay bale. While watching them for a few minutes, I noticed that they went to the bale on the right path and back to the barn on the left path. Except for one smaller doe that took the wrong route and had to step off into the snow to let a bigger more "important" doe pass by. I have no idea if this is always the case, but was while I was watching. Goats never cease to amaze me with their antics!
A picture I took this afternoon.
