New Year

Well, again it has been way too long since my last entry..........It is a new year and maybe I can make it a habit to keep this up a little better!  I just love the idea of posting every day, I don't know why I don't just do it. 

We have had such wonderfully mild weather, I feel bad saying that with our neighbors to the north and west having such horrible snow storms recently, but it sounds like cold weather is headed our way for the end of the week.  Not looking forward to ice in the water pans again!  I do have tank heaters in a couple of them, so that will help.

Jim found a cold little bundle of joy this morning, a new baby goat. Had him in the house to warm and back and forth with mama during the day, thought he was doing ok late afternoon and left him with her while we went into town to visit Mom for a while.  When Jim checked again after supper, he was not doing well again, so guess who is our house guest!
