Memory Garden

Posted in Our life

I'm posting this on all my blogs.  Thought someone else might be interested in this idea that I got from thriftyfun.com.

Memory Garden Bed

My Husband Lost both his Parents this year and We are not able to
go visit their graves so we made a Memory Garden for them.

I made cement stepping stones with their names and dates on them.
We planted flowers and bulbs his parents loved. We put a small
bench and Angel statues in it.

Now we can visit them daily and I put flowers out for the
Holidays and their birthdays for them.

That's a neat idea--my "Ma" as I call her, brought cuttings home after her Ma had passed on and has some of her flowers blooming in her garden now--thousands of miles away from where they were planted :) I think it's a neat idea!

..my husband passed away 4 years ago this month and I am not much of a cemetary person - but I could that in my back yard near my new garden - thank you so much for that great idea.

What a wonderful idea!

and to answer your question about the photo spread on my blog. It's a ready made html code found at Flickr.com you upload your photos there and then click on "yours" up at the top of the page and on the right sidebar you will see

"Share your photos

Did you know you can publish your photos on another website with a Flickr badge?"

click that and it will guide you through the process!
