I was an absolute nervous wreck about having the neighbors over. I was totally out of my comfort zone and Steve was in his! I was sick to my stomach in anticipation . One neighbor came and once he was in the door I felt a whole lot better. A couple called and said they were too sick to make it, but our other neighbors must have had other plans. The visit went well and he asked a million questions about our trip. Christina had fun, she loves talking...
We got a phone call Christmas morning. It was H*len from the Sunday church where I play the piano. She wondered if we knew that the church had decided that the Ford family was taking the whole service Sunday morning. Uh, nope! We had never heard that. She didn't know where the rumor had started but she wanted to find out if it was true and would call us back - but just in case, could we at all possible do it if it was true? The minister is out of town and the other person who was suppose to take the service was out of town, so apparently they thought of the Fords. They are very apologetic for dropping the ball somewhere and forgetting to ask us earlier, but everything is fine. We have a plan and our whole family will be involved one way or another. Steve will share what he shared at our church about the glory of God come down on Christmas and the glory of God being revealed today and our purpose here on earth and go into some pictures of the needs in Africa. The girls will do music also.
We have new little members in our household. Three little birds from Rocky and Maria. They are still nervous and wondering why the big move, but the girls are excited. The birds are beautiful!
We enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner with the St*ff*rds. I wish I had a pictures of all 7 girls in their pajamas. I planned to take a picture and forgot. My girls were very excited about the pajamas they were given. Christina got penguins on hers - her very favorite. We stayed forever until way past my bedtime! We looked at all our Africa pictures and all their Southwest trip pictures of Zion and Grand Canyon and Brice Canyon, etc... Then we watched Fountainview's new Xmas DVD. We loved it! It is really, really well done. A dream come true for Craig - I remember when when he first started talking about doing this and I wondered if it would ever be a reality. The music is fantastic and the horses are beautiful. I am hoping to get Fountainview to mail me a copy so I can send it to Jason and Antionette. We shall see... everybody is on vacation there right now.
Oh, Teresa had to take a funza out of Jon's foot. It was pretty big. Africa keeps following us :-)
