Hey, we are doing a little better today! I managed to sleep until 3 am! The girls slept longer but feel very stuffy. The girls decorated the tree. It's simple; harps, angels, bows and white lights. The sun is shining and air is sparkly like someone threw glitter from a plane! It's impossible to capture on camera but it is absolutely beautiful. The girls went to the Christmas program practice last night .They enjoyed seeing everyone. It's going to be quite a production from what I hear. There's ton of little children to keep things interesting. I look forward to enjoying the program as part of the audience. That is something quite unusual for me considering I am the Reflections choir director. I haven't even seen a preview so that makes it extra special! It's a blessing I look forward to. Vanessa is busy practicing her harp for the program. The weather finally cooperated long enough for us to pick it up from the teacher's house.
I want to assure my commentors that I do plan to continue blogging... just trying to have some sort of direction. I appreciate the encouragement... I will say though, I am done with expounding on our trip to Africa. I said everything I could think of saying at the risk of saying too much :-) I hope that I left enough for the others to say. I told Steve that I don't need to be one of the ones giving a report at church... I've been reporting all along! People need to hear from another perspective. I am slowly but surely working backwards in my blog and adding pictures to past entries about the trip. That part is for me. I like pictures and I like to feel that I completed a project.
I'm rambling, but I will leave you all with this thought:
To him who is content to received without derserving, who feels that he can never recompense such love, who lays all doubt and unbeliefs aside, and comes as a little child to the feet of Jesus, all the treasures of eternal love are a free everlasting gift.
