Lasagna Garden Update...

- Be friend.Say hello & leave a signature!!

I am so proud of my garden! So is my husband. He can't say enought about how nice it is. We are enjoying the fruit of our labor very much. I am not buying a whole lot from the store these days. We have our orchard and two gardens to feed us with.

Steve weed-whacked the hillside yesterday so it looks so clean and smooth. You can see how dry the hills are behind the garden.

As I have been pulling up veggies I have been planting new seeds. No use having bare spots in the garden. The Lord is blessing our little patch! Next week I will post an update on the "Unorthodox" garden.

gonna have to read this book! We have so much grass in our garden this year is is just crazy... now some taller weeds that shot up in a week's time... taller than me and of course all the vining plants had to grab them so pulling them is almost fruitless. I've read square foot gardening and with a large garden, that is a bit hard... or rather a bit expensive to square off small squares of plants. We tried it one year, and were successsful with onions and beans, but the rest... no great results.

more on an email...

Warmly, ~Melissa
