I am happy to announce that our last puppy is sold! - Sold to friends! He is such a good puppy. It will be nice to see him grow up and we know he will be happy with the Morgans. They have 5 sweet kids who will love him and give him all the attention he needs. We had offered him at half price but they wrote the check out for full price. That's all money for the mission trip to Tanzania!!!. Anyway, see you around Chuckles!
We worked in the garden staking tomatoes and weeding and planting seeds, yet again. Things look a little better. I think we are managing the earwigs, but we have not won the battle yet. I am going out after dark to see what needs to be done. The lower garden that was eaten up leaving 4 tomato plants and 3 cabbages has sprouted seedlings. They don't look at all chewed - yet, anyway.
We were give an full size bed for Brianna's bed frame. She is happily sleeping in it. I gave away the bunk beds on freecycle and I found a really nice bedspread, bedskirt and sham set at the Goodwill for Vanessa. Brianna is taking the white bedding and Vanessa is getting the sage green/gold/reds. She has been wanting to paint one wall red in her room and taupe for the rest. This is perfect! A real deal.
We've been doing laundry and getting the house ready for our guest preacher this weekend. We are planning to have everything ready for Sabbath early so we can enjoy the meetings and our guest.
The girl's quintet decided on a name: Echoes of Heaven. It think it fits. I was really happy with their progress at practice. They are singing "I Am Determined" for church. So proud of them. Now if I can just play that hard piece without messing up somewhere in those 11 pages.
