"ASK GABBY COLUMN"

Well, I am selling a share of my blog to my Gabby Girl!  She is working on her computer skills, so I thought it would be fun for her to start a column in my blog.  She loves to research animals, pioneers and gardening, so if any of you would be so kind as to ask her a question about any of these subjects, she will research and answer in her column "Ask Gabby" every Friday.  It doesn't have to be a question that the answer is unknown, but perhaps one that you think will be fun for her to research and look into.  I am calling on the help of you homeschool mommies and clever homesteaders and all questions will be answered, so ask away!!  This 7 year old is very excited for this new adventure, and will truly be blessed by your investing in her intrests and learning experience!

Dear Gabby,

Can you tell me what type of rabbit would be the friendliest for a child's pet? The rabbit would need to live outdoors in a cage.

Rossie, I would love for you to come to my house and help paint. I don't mind painting, but I prefer to do it in empty rooms. Presently the bedroom door and closet doors are off and the contents of the closet are piled on the bed. But, since David and Maria will be gone till Tuesday, I will just sleep in her bed.
I saw both Dru and Ann at the gym a couple of days ago, so of course I thought of you. Luckily I had just finished on Dru's favorite treadmill when they came in!
A question for Gabby: Besides gold prospectors, what other types of pioneers and settlers came to California in the 1800s? Thanks!
