Crazy week!!

I have taken a short break, but I have missed you all here!  We have had a crazy week and I just wasn't able to do everything.  I am enjoying getting caught up on all your blogs. 

We had our first chicken hatch the other day, and my DD6 has been documenting each of the 21 days, so rightfully the first chick is hers.  She named it Goosey Loosey.  We still have 4 eggs in there ready to hatch abd ine already is cracked, so I am sure it will be showing it's little beak any time now.  I have told each of the kids they could have a chick so if for some reason we don't have that many hatch, I will buy the others at the feed store.  I am almost finished with the chicken coop, so I will post pictures as soon as it is finished!

Since I can't have my own chickens, I am very happy to read about yours. You fun to hatch them "from scratch!"

I'll look forward to the pictures of the coop.

Rossiie - sometimes you just need a break to get back on track - I tend to de-rail once in a while.

I am not able to have chickens. I really want some someday. Glad to hear you are doing good. Breaks are good. I have been known to take one now and agian. Have a good day!
