Ok, seriously, this technology is for the birds!!!!!! I just typed out my whole message, and somehow, it got deleted.......So here I go again!

My dear friend (raquel in my friends column, you should go visit her blog!) introduced me to the neatest bible study, called Apples of Gold. It is an older women mentoring younger women study based on Titus 2. Every meeting they give us a cooking demonstration, we share a meal, they give us wisdom in how to be the women God has created us to be and then we go through the book. It is a six week study, so I thought I would share a few tid bits as I go through it with all of you!

Apples of gold in shining silver;

That's what our words should be.

May the glowing of Your Spirit

Reflect, O Lord, in me.

Help me to guard each word I speak;

May only love proceed,

So that what others hear from me, Lord,

Is really what they need.

May all my words be seasoned, Lord,

So richly by Thy grace,

Taht when others look upon me

They see Your glorious face.

I did this Bible study a few years ago and loved it! It was so nice to have the older ladies in the church mentoring us younger ones. The cooking demo\'s were great, and funny! Then we went over the study and shared our answers to the questions. Afterward we gathered at tables set up to eat the yummy food they cooked. The ladies made it so much fun, they did themes, like Italian and the tables looked like we were in an Italian eatery. Other themes were an outdoor picnic, Chinese, Mexican, etc. They always had a small gift for us to bring home. We also got copies of the recipes that were put into a 3-ring binder. Have fun going through Apples of Gold!
