Things to do before summer is over...

Yikes!!  I can't believe Summer is nearing an end!  The hot weather is just beginning, so I think that is throwing me off a bit.  I have so much still to accomplish beforeit is done, and I have to cut almost 2 weeks out of what is left.  I am going to San Francisco to teach summer school.  My inlaws have a church/rescue mission/school up there, and the teachers are going to be away at a convention.  I am excited and my 2 older children are more than happy to be able to go to a "real school"  (homeschooling is real enough for me)

Anyway, back to my so much to accomplish bit...I am going to post my ToDo list as a means of accountability!  Here it goes:

Plan out school year

Organize and get rid of children's clothes

Clean out garage

Paint boys bedroom

Get my chickens

Sign Gabrielle up for 4H

Do my summer deep cleaning

Purchase my Wondermill/Mixer

Build a picnic table

Put together school area (I feel like I just undid it for summer)

Set up little schoolhouse meetings

Get play room ready in Phil's shop

Okay, the list could go on and on, but I am not a super hero, so I will start there and we'll see how far I get!  Prayers are appreciated!

Sister - prayers are with you - hope you get that list whittled down a little before school starts - It will be in the 100s all this week and was all last week - we need some relief!!! It's hard to thank about summer being over with - we usually have summer weather until around Thanksgiving!! We have SIX MONTHS of summer!! Lucky us!!!!
Yes, dear, that is my precious Pampered Chef wooden spoon - I have about 4 of them and can't tell you how long I have had them - probably about 7 years - I love them!!!

Though I have one two!! Hope you have fun in SF. We will not be able to get up norht till next year. I hope. My mom is down in the dumps right now and it is killing me not to be with her. Have a wonderful trip!
