Homestead Haven Beginnings

A long weekend...

I haven't been able to post for a few days...my MOPS group had our annual steer team retreat.  We get to go away for 2 days to plan for the year.  It was so nice to get away and get refreshed, and when I got home, I realized how much I missed my kids.  I am so thankful that DH has the desire for me to stay home.  He works so hard and sacrifices so much so that his family has the very best.  Not in the sense of material things, but the important things.  I know that sometimes moms need to work in order to get by, but when I got home after 2 days of no children, I knew that I could not leave them to someone else everyday, and am so blessed to be able to stay at home with them!  And they missed me to...I don't know about you, but the looks on my children's faces when I got home was pure delight, and I need to see that every once in awhile.  It doesn't happen very often because I am always here, but it was worth not seeing them for those couple days, just to see their faces!
