I have never heard of it, but, wow... did that make me think. How blessed I am to live where my period is just an annoyance (and I cannot wait to be pregnant again so I do not have to deal with it. And mine are relatively light!). How awful it would be to live where it literally STOPS your life. stops your future and your abilities. wow.
