Here are two awesome resources that I've just been told about. and I love them already! The first is Wowio.Com ! FREE Ebooks! You sign up and can download 5 free ebooks per day. Of course, I know you can find ebooks on the net, but these are really nice looking & nicely laid out. I have downloaded the most adorable kids books from there already, i.e. The Velveteen Rabbit, several Beatrix Potter books and some awesome History craft books (Pioneer Era/ Civil War Era/Ancient Egypt). Here's another! If you are more into "Real" hands on books. Then PaperBackSwap.com might be for you! Real Books, free... Do you have books you wouldn't mind getting rid of? There are TONS of books here to swap them for! Check it out!
