Mmm Mmm Good

When I got ready to prepare what I thought I was going to make for dinner tonight, I realized I was missing some ingredients. So I had to improvise which I do not do very often. Well I really enjoyed what I came up with tonight and so did my whole family...yes my children too. Here goes:

2 lbs hamburger (I use half hamburger and half ground turkey to save $)
1 cup diced green pepper (in my freezer from garden already diced)
1 half of a medium oinion diced

Brown this together and drain. Then add 2 cans tomato soup or 1 family sized, 1/2 quart of tomato juice (canned from my garden), 1 quart diced tomatoes (canned from my garden), 2 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp soul seasoning, 1/2 tsp season salt, pepper to taste. Simmer over low for about 15 minutes. Serve over elbow macaroni noodles.
