I have been out in the yard today looking for fresh signs of spring.Spring is my most favorite time of the year,so when I see fresh sprouts of flowers coming up I get so excited.The iris are sprouting up everywhere and the daylily are spreading out so much.

I need to get a dry day to do some transplanting of them.I want to put some in different areas of my yard.I also have a cactus{prickly pear}that is coming back to life.

I am going to try my hand this year on making some herb beds.I have been using dried ones in cooking alot and would love to try some fresh herbs with my cooking.Oscar {my sweetie} made me three window boxes last year while he was in therapy to help his right hand learn to coordinate again.I love them,but have an idea to hang them off my porch instead of out my windows.I love to grow things so I guess this is why spring time is so special to me.Here is a couple more pics of stuff popping up in my yard.Of course I still need to clean the fall debris out of my gardens so overlook it.

Here is a pic of a lilac bush sprouting buds.Look close and you can see it.
