Growing in Grace-Living Life One Day at a Time

Attack on the Family

You know it seems I have been hearing much lately about families breaking up,marriages being unhappy, children disrespecting and disobeying parents and family life in general being attacked and sometimes destroyed completely. It saddens my heart to think that I at one time in my life was traveling down that same road. I put many things before my hubby and kids when the only thing before them should have been God.I have put career, ministry and self at the top of the priority list and many times have even put it before my Lord and Saviour.I thank God that he dosent give up on us and is always teaching us and loving us unconditionally.Where would we be without the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ ? What lessons would we learn if we were only perfect people ? How many women would we be able to minister to on a daily basis if we had never screwed up or been less than perfect in others eyes ?

There is hope for the family and His name is Jesus. He wants into our homes and families and he wants to take them back. He wants to give us peace and Love unconditionally. He wants to dust us off and start with us again. He is a restorer,a comforter and a provider. If you have been listening to the lies of satan concerning your family and home, its time to put a deaf ear to him and reclaim your family and home. I did,and I have never regreted putting my priorities in order ever since. Am I perfect ? Heavens NO ! Do I struggle ? Heavens YES ! This is not meant to condem anyone, but to remind us we have a choice and it dosent have to be the one satan offers to us.Thank God for His mercy and grace. Thank God for Jesus !!!!

Hugs,

Rachel

It is a sign of the times..........

2 Timothy 3:1-9

Godlessness in the Last Days

1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,

7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.
9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
