Here in my little part of the world we are recieving lots and lots of RAIN !!

Unlike yesterday,today is wet and gloomy.It is still a day to praise God for His goodness though.Kinda like in our spiritual life how we go through seasons.I am learning in my life to praise Him when things are good and Praise Him in the storms.He dosent change,only our circumstances do.Well with that off my heart we will move on to some recipes I promised you.This one is for chocolate chip cookies in bulk.I plan on making this up today{in my new mixer,Praise God} ,it will last a while and be easy to make up a batch of cookies for my sweeties at home.I cant wait to try out my mixer today !!! Heres the recipe:

Chocolate chip cookies {Bulk}

9 cups flour

1 1/2 Tbsp.baking powder

3/4 Tbsp. salt

3 cups brown sugar

3 cups white sugar

4 cups shortening

5 cups chocolate chips

Place dry ingredients in a bowl and add shortening.

To make:

Combine 4 cups of mix with 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg.

bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes {or golden brown}

This recipe will keep up to 6 months stored in a air tight container before adding vanilla and eggs.
