      Wow !

Seems as though this year has just flown by for our family. We are so very ,very thankful and blessed this Christmas. My husband had an aneurysm back in March of this year. The doctors went in to coil it,and was sucessful with the coiling, but in the process my hubby had several mini strokes.Overnite, our lives were literally turned upside down.He went through aggressive therapy to get him walking and talking again and totally being able to care for himself. He was in the hospital and rehab center over a month. That was such a trying time for me and the kids.We had to totally rely on God's help and trust Him totally.

Just when we thought he was doing good and our lives were starting to get back to somewhat normal,he had an angiogram done in October and we found out the coiling was coming loose. To make a long story short,my husband was faced with craniotomy surgery to clip the aneurysm.

Well, his surgery was Dec.10th and we are now home and he is doing great ! By God's grace, the surgery went very well and the aneurysm is now clipped and hubby is on the mend, with no neurological setbacks at all this time.We feel very blessed and overwhelmed by God's mercy and His awesome hand that has been upon us.I am hoping to get back to this blog and start writting.I have been so encouraged by many ladies on homestead blogger that probably do not even have a clue that I have stopped by their blog to read.I hope to be an encouragement to someone else also, and meet many new friends.

Thank You Father for taking care of this precious family. As we all learn to trust you it seems that we become stronger and who you created us to be. May this family Father continue to grow in you as your Joy becomes their strength. I love what you are doing and going to do for them this Christmas season and on into the New Year. You have great and marvelous things for them. I give you praise Father. In Jesus' Holy Name!! Lovingly, rilda *U*
