I spent most of yesterday working on my sister-in-law's web page. She came over and I scanned some pictures, then when she left I started working on their "About Us" page. She had written it up, but when I got into it I realized that we needed to keep the theme of their project in mind, and rewrote it. Poor girl, I tend to be a bit pushy! Sue seemed to like the page, though. It was a beautiful day yesterday, although there was still a chill in the air. After sitting so long in front of the computer, it felt good to get out and take my spaniel for a walk down to my mother's. We had a fun time collecting family pictures for an article I'm writing for the Blue Ridge Gazette. I filled a bobbin last night with the purple and black silk plied with the Coopworth single. Turned out nice; much more subtle than the flashes of turquoise and pink in the first run. A blog friend suggested that I name this line "Colors of Life". I think that's a pretty good title, and I was thinking of calling the purple and black "Passion and Shadow". Still thinking of a name for the first one! It's a gray day today, with low clouds and a bit of wind. Another really cold snap is expected before the weekend is over, so I may hold off on shearing bunnies. But a couple really need to be attended to soon! |
