I've had so much fun with my new camera - I love the videos it takes. But I forgot to keep a new battery. So, battery is dead. Spare is dead. No new pictures. Thankfully Chopper Girl and Nanna to 3 took pictures and sent them to me after last Saturday's shindig. :) Here's one of our house, we're unfortunately just renting. Here's another with a good pic of the fiddly bits on the porch - it was built in 1870 and it's COOL - even if the shower leaks through to the dining room sometimes. :) Now, finally, I've got a picture of the VERY COOL range cage that Mr Top Gun built for the chickens. Sundance likes to go in and play with the poor chickens. We try and keep him out - they're getting scared of him. Note the three pullets in a lump right in front of him. The blond looking chicken toward the back - to the right of the black and white hen (aka Wyna - b/c she's a silver laced Wynadote) - that's Sir Bill - our new rooster. He's still young so he's not yet taken over, he will I'm sure, for now it's Blackie who rules the roost (ha ha a pun that means what it says!). She'a a Polish and she's all black except for the white pouf on her head (and it's lopsided). I'll get a picture eventually. And, here's the ducks, turkeys and Butch. Now if I could get that battery done so I can take pictures of Sir Bill, our rooster, b/c he's almost as much a character as Blackie - |
