This is a link to a blog over a Cranach. It's making me worried about where we're going. Makes me remember Herb Cain's (here's a column about the man himself - he died around '95 or so) column about the Golden Gate Bridge and how the toll was only there until they paid for the cost of building the bridge (it went up $2 the last time I lived there - 5 years ago) and it was paid off about 10 years before I moved to Berkeley in 1992. Once Government gets it's paws on something they really don't like to let go. We really need a fiscal conservative in charge of a few things to get us out of this mess, and I'm not all that sure either McCain or Obama are one. I'd better post pics of the Wild Bunch, this stuff is depressing and I can't actually do anything about it! |
