Offended....Outraged? Naw.....but *I* am listening!!!!Yesterday morning, I was shaken out of bed by an earthquake. For ya'all in Calif........that's not a biggie. But for us in the Midwest....Tornado? Yes. Flood? Yes. Blizzard? YesEarthquakes. Not quite. Last one was in 1988 and it was no where near as strong as this one. I don't believe in coinsidences. I believe everything happens according to God's plan. I find it interesting the timing of this 'earthquake'. My Bible study group just finished up Matthew 24-25. I find it interesting also that today, Saturday (the Sabbath) April 19th (at sundown) is the Passover. The day after this rocking of the earth. I find it interesting what has happened in the news lately....things that are not only 'against God' but they are sins committed in His Name. Luke 21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. Mark 13:8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. Matthew 24:7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. Yesterday at 5:30 in the morning, I heard the earth, 'groan'. It sounded like a slow grinding labored, groan. The news couldn't stop talking about it BUT! No one took it as a 'warning sign'. Some were 'scared'. Some mocked it. Some just laughed at it. Some went so far as to say this is because of global warming.......... You're darn right it is! Revelation 6:12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, Revelation 8:5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Revelation 11:13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. Revelation 11:19 Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hailstorm. Revelation 16:18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. God's Global Warming His Globe, He's in control, and He will heat it up when HE chooses too. Do I think this is "the end"........nope. Jesus tells us what to look for in Matthew 24 and 25. When His Hand rocked the earth yesterday under my feet, did He gain my attention? Yes, He did!
