What sould be our attitude when dealing with another's faults? That is one of the questions from my Bible study this week. The passages that go along with this are: Matthew 18:15-20, 1 Corinthians 5:1-5, 12:13-26, 2 Corinthians 2:5-11, and Galatians 6:1-10. My answer to the question "What should be our attitude when dealing with another' faults" is: Humility and genuine desire for restoration. This is another question: According to the parable of Matthew 18:23-34, how do the sins of others against you compare with your sins against God? My answer: HA HA HA-----NO comparison. Really. When I sit down and do an honest evaluation of my daily sins against the Lord -vs- the 'sins' committed against me? No comparison. None. Really. And really, the sins 'committed against me', how many of those are really sins committed against God, and I am just standing in the way??????? Lot's to think on this week. More over, I hope this changes my heart. Not just go into my head, rattle around for a few, and then exit out the other ear. I really want this to sink into my heart.....where it counts. 07:41 - Monday, February 25, 2008
