• Monday, August 14, 2006 - As I sit here watching my girls ...
| playing with the garden hose I want to be peaceful but can't. Can someone tell me why they can't seem to enjoy each other for more than 10 minutes without fighting? I know they are mostly playing and won't really hurt one another. It is so annoying. Please pray for me and my girls that we can find peace on such a beautiful day.

• Monday, July 10, 2006 - Today has been good!
| I think I have come upon a good idea with my girls.I created a work chart of jobs that they can do. With that is attached a small dollar amount (10-20 cents) and they love it!They have done so many jobs today. Is this bribery? I don't know and I don't really care! It is working!!! What a nice day we have had!

• Sunday, July 9, 2006 - I have been away forever haven't I?
| I really want to be a regular blogger but life keeps getting in the way! Things are busy when you have 2 little girls who want your attention all day every day! I have started digital scrapbooking and tht takes up time too. Well, all is well and we haven't gotten any new pets lately. (Of course Faith and I want to get a chinchilla :-), maybe). TaaTaaForNow

• Monday, April 24, 2006 - What did I do today?
Today was my mom's birthday! I treated her to lunch at Red Lobster and we got enough food we brought almost half of it home for dinner! We had a lovely afternoon together. After lunch we stopped at JoAnn Fabric and got some planting pots for in front of the house. Hopefully I can get that garden going in the next couple months. Then we stopped at the grocery store. Mom stayed in the car so I made it as quick as I could. The girls had hardly any homework so the evening was nice and peaceful. LOL! We cleaned up their rooms . DD#2 found a computer game she thought was lost so I allowed her to get on the computer and work. It was Jump Start 1st grade Math. She loves that game! DD#1 wanted to stay up and watch Wife Swap with me. I so enjoy that show!!! The girls went to bed reasonably well. Hopefully they can stay in their own beds all night tonight. I need a full night sleep. Tomorrow is DD#1's 3rd grade feild trip. Hubby and I are going with them. Pray for good weather and that my back feels good. I'll let you know how it goes!

• Sunday, April 23, 2006 - What a great day!
|
I love Sundays! I love going to church and praising my Lord! And I am so blessed to be able to do it with my family. We had a great family day today. After church we went to one of our favorite stores, Petco! We love animals! After that we enjoyed a nice lunch at TGI Fridays. Our waitress was really sweet and the food was yummy. Thenn we took the girls to Toys R Us and bought the game of Life to play together. But when we got home hubby told me to go take a nice long bath in my mothers whirl pool tub. So I did!!!Then he had me rest while he worked on cleaning up our back porch and bringing in a bigger cage to move our little chicks into. They grow so fast and they were getting too stinky to stay in the house. So that was my day! Tomorrow is my mom's birthday and I need to do my house blessing in the morning. And of course there is always LAUNDRY! Until later...

• Saturday, April 22, 2006 - My first entry
I am ready to begin my blogging journey. I have read many others and so enjoy reading about everyone's lives. I hope you enjoy hearing about mine. I am a SAHM that has been blessed to be married to my best friend for 13 years and mommy of 2 wonderful daughters. They attend a terrific country public school. We have many animals in our home. We also live with my mother. We moved into my childhood home almost 4 years ago, after my father passed away. I love being able to have my girls able to play outside and not worrying they are safe. Before we lived here we lived in a town house and had hardly no yard at all. Here they can run and ride their bikes! I am working on becoming a true help mate for my husband and having a warm and welcoming Christ filled home. Please feel free to comment and help me on my journey.
