Let's Pretend Christmas Doesn't Exist and is not Happening...

For those of us who regard this season as a holy celebration, the secular hype and the politically correct avoidance of the word "Christmas" can be extremely irritating. I found this great quote from CS Lewis on my friend  Marcelyn's blog and am keeping it in mind this month:

A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell. ~ C.S. Lewis

Don't let words that irritate you ruin your Christmas celebration or cause you to be irritated. We need to show those who have irritated us love and kindness, because they may not know Christ as we do. What better way can we share Christ than with our actions and love.

As Christians this is our time to CELEBRATE! I also love C.S.Lewis. He is my favourite author. The fact he is from Belfast doesn't sway me at all!!!
