Snow Day

01:52, Saturday, January 21 .. 5 comments .. Link

The picture at the top of my blog is the view from my kitchen. Just  yesterday, it was 50 degrees and the grass was green. I picked a sprig of mint - NEW GROWTH! - from my otherwise dead herb garden. The blizzard caught us 50 miles from home and we had to drive in it, after dark, on unplowed roads.

Living in Wisconsin is like that.

Wow, I hate driving in the snow, but my brother in MN says you do get used to it. Welcome to HSB!

What a beautiful view! I'd love to see that out my kitchen window. But here in CT all the snow is gone because of the warm temps and rain we've had recently. I hope winter returns soon though.

Thanks for sharing. I too would love to see some of the white stuff around here, but it doesn't look likely. Very warm temps for winter in OK.

Enjoy your lovely view. Have a great weekend.

PS ~ makes me think of all the warm, toasty and wonderful things you get to do when you are inside on a day like this. Mmmm. ; )

Wisconsin ROCKS!

Shoot, I wish we'd get some snow up here in the nort'woods. We are back to a crusty covering.
