Day Shift

Day Shift is so easy! It's like playing house. It still has that unreal quality, as if I am just dreaming. My day is so organized and predictable! I get up at 5:15 and make breakfast and lunch for my DH, see him off to work, do my private devotions, play on the computer, make my bedroom and tidy things up... DH comes home at 4:00 and we still have a large part of the day left!  Night shift was so stressful - I never knew if anyone would be around for meals or when DH would  get home or be awake. He never got enough sleep.

Now, learning to sleep together again after so many years of having the bed to myself is another story...........
