Root Canal Today!

Ick. It's in a town 25 miles from here, and Matthew will have to accompany me to drive home because they  will (hopefully) give me drugs for the procedure. It has to be done now, though. Not only does the tooth HURT, but our insurance expires on June 30.

I also have to finish up a dress set and get it in the mail tomorrow morning! Better go sew...

We need another car. Alex got a ticket last night for driving our Escort, which has expired tabs and will NOT pass the emissions test so we can get the tabs renewed! I am ashamed to admit this is the SECOND ticket we have received for this. Alex wants to get a loan to buy a newer used car, and I don't want him going into debt like that. He would also have to carry full coverage insurance on it then, and it's all so expensive for a 19 yo male. He sure doesn't seem to have any extra money now, and in another two months he will have tuition bills again!

Let's see... what good new? Matthew is loving the community theater. He is the curtain puller for Oklahoma, but he is just dying to act. I think he has memorized all the lines, songs, and dances, so in case any of them tumble downstairs or get sick or hit by a car, he is ready to go onstage. (They had better watch their backs!)  The next play they are doing is A Midsummer Night Dream, and he has already read it through twice! I think he is memorizing it. He says Shakespeare was a genius. Since there are practices almost every night, I can honestly say for the first time that I am glad we live in town!

Sorry to hear that you have to have dental work done, but it's always nice to get that stuff done before the insurance runs out! ;o)

I love looking at all of your beautiful sewing. I'm hoping to make my dog a bandana.... Hopefully I won't mess it up too much! Ha!
