Wednesday, June 13, 2007Beginnings and DreamsPosted in This and ThatThis year is a new beginning for my family, one filled with hopes and dreams. We have recently moved to a rental house in the country outside our hometown. We were hoping to get a garden in for the summer but I guess God had other plans. We had TWO tillers give to us and we could not get either one to work, so that means the farmers market for me this summer if I want to get anything canned. We eventually want to buy our own place, which will truly be a new beginning, and hopefully that will happen within the next year, but I know all is God's timing. Our dream is to have a place where the kids can run and play with the cats and dogs, where I can have my gardens, and where my husband can hunt to his hearts content. We hope to be able to raise our own food. I pray daily that this dream, this hope, becomes reality. But, for now, we are at least out of the city, away from the noise, and away from most of the traffic. Here, my kids do at least have some room to run and play. | 1 comments | | Link |
