We Sold Our House!

We put our house on the market three weeks ago. We had found a hobby farm that we really wanted to buy, so we decided to go ahead and list our house, even though there were things we could have done to fix it up some. As the days went by we were starting to wonder if we should have waited. We had a few showings early on, but a whole week went by without anyone showing any interest.Last Thursday morning a good friend from church called. She asked how things were going and said that she had it in her heart to pray for us. Not two hours later our agent called to say that there would be TWO showings that day. It turned out that BOTH couples wanted to put in an offer. The first offer was almost exactly what we wanted, and it was unconditional. (The other couple would have had to sell their condo.) So we are moving on August 22.
We have an offer in on the place we wanted. We don't know if they will take it because it is $15K less that what it was listed for, but it is a real fixer-upper, so we shall see.
This is it! It has five bedrooms and is on 35 acres of rolling farmland. There is a pond, and a creek runs through the back of the property. This is what we have been praying for. Now we are waiting to hear whether they will accept our offer. May God's will be done...
