Garden of your heart

Started the rest of the planting today!

I am so thrilled to have started to plant the rest of my garden.   I hope to have it all finished by mid next week.  I planted zucchini, yellow crooked neck squash, canteloupe, watermelon, marigolds and yarrow.  I am going to buy some more tomato plants today as well for planting this week.

I think we have blocked the "culprit" from our yard that has been eating tomato plants.  I am sure it must have been a rabbit.  We have gone 3 days without anything having been eaten!  Yeah!  :)

It is a cool but beautiful morning here.  The high is supposed to be in the low 70's but in a couple days it is suppoed to be in the low 90's.  Our weather has been really weird....nice but such a flux in temps!

I enjoy my garden time!  I enjoy the time of prayer and reflection on what I read in the Bible.  I am reading Jeremiah right now.  You know what stood out to me today was two things that the Israelites were not doing.  1.  They were not listening to the Lord  2.  They were not obeying.  He had given direction, wanted to give more direction, but since they wouldn't listen and wouldn't obey, he told Jeremiah not to,.  Yikes!  I pray that my heart would not be so stubborn (and I know it has been before) that God decides to not speak.  But, all it takes is repentance on our part if we are at that point.

I am missing my friend who is on vacation!  We would e-mail every day and often talk during the week as well as have lunch.  I am hoping she is having a great time!

I am also missing my friend who is in Michigan.  Why is it those precious friends are so far away!

I am thankful though for the friends that I do have!

Hi Debbie, Friends are a gift.
I pray this time has been profitable for other things.
So far your garden sounds good.
