Hustle and Bustle....

isn't that what it can feel like at Christmas.  As I write, I am helping to get our women's Christmas event ready for tomorrow night.  We will have about 100+ ladies.  Such a busy time!  In the midst of all this I am also trying to prepare for our Annual Christmas Open House that my dh and I always have.  We usually end up with approximately 100 people from church, work, friends we grew up with, family, etc.  It is a lot of fun!  I love spending time with the people we care about at the holiday season.  It is a Christmas blessing to me! 

But, in the hustle and bustle, it is so important that we sit at Jesus' feet.  Something, that I too struggle with.  Once I get going, it is hard to slow down!  Let's enjoy all that the holiday brings, but slow down to meet with the One that we celebrate the most at Christmas!  God sent His Son, Jesus, to be born in a lowly manger, so that one day He would pay the penalty for my/our sins.  Now, that is worth taking time to ponder!  :)  That makes it worth spending time at His feet!  That also is why we are free to love others! 

Enjoy your preparations!  Enjoy the Presence of our Saviour in your lives!

Amen...... Jesus is truly the reason for the season... so easy for many to miss that in the midst of the hustle and bustle....... we can choose differently.....
