Garden of your heart

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so blessed!  God has been so generous to us this year.  He has provided for our every need.  He has provided through us.  He has blessed us with family and friends.  He has loved us through His word and others. 

Today I can't bypass being thankful for two more people in my life.  My friends Leslie and Monette.  Leslie and I have been friends now for 23 years.  We met in college.  She has truly been a special friend to me all these years.  She has been one of my greatest encouragers and above all challenges me to walk faithfully with the Lord.  We have never lived near each other except the two years in college, but our friendship has thrived over the years through letters, cards, phone calls and the two times we have seen each other in the that time.  My other friend is Monette.  Monette and I just met last year, but she has such a similar heart as mine.  We hit it off immediately.  This is rare!  She also is another of my great encouragers and challengers of my walk with the Lord.  We enjoy lots of laughs.  I am thankful she is in town.  It's nice to have a friend close by too!  So ladies, just know you are both so very special to me and I love you both!
