Day Seven - Being Thankful

Wow....a week of thankfulness!  Really, shouldn't it be a life of thankfulness?  God is so good...all the time,  all the time, God is good! 

Today I am thankful for my brother-in-law Mike.  He is a hardworker.  He has a huge sense of humor (and for a serious person like me, that can be a challenge  ).  But he brings a lot of joy to the entire family.  I love to hear him praise his wife.  It is so evident he loves her.  He plays with his 6 year old son and they just laugh and laugh.  He teases and hugs his daughters.  He has the greatest servants heart.  He is always helping others...familiy, friends.  God is doing a good work in Mike right now as the company he worked for closed almost 6 months ago.  Since then he has been looking for a job.  It's been tough because they had to sell their home, but boy can we see how God ordained that at the perfect time.  Our housing market took a huge dive right after.  God provided for them BEFORE he was laid off.  So, we know that God will provide a job that he can support the family.  In the meantime, God is working both in their lives and ours as we all live together.  I really enjoy the true Christian fellowship we have with them.  This I know could be a bitter/sweet time.  For us, it truly is sweet to be around them so much!
