Day Three - Being Thankful

Today (and everyday) one thing that I am always thankful for is that God sent His son Jesus to this earth.  (John 3:16) Jesus chose to die on the cross for my sins, (Philippians 2) but he didn't stay dead, no He rose again on the third day and now lives at the right hand of the Father. (Hebrews 8) Then, for those who believe, the Holy Spirit is sent to seal them for eternity.  (Ephesians 1)  What an awesome and loving God we have.  

This act of love provides us with a way to God.  Matter of fact, the Bible says that "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father but by Him."  (John 14:6). 

If you have never made the choice to believe in Him to be saved (from eternal condemnation....Romans 10) I encourage you to give your life to Christ today.  It is as simple as understanding that you are a sinner (we all are...Romans 6), and that Jesus died and was crucified for yours (and my) sins.  It says whoever believes in Him will be saved.  Just ask Him to forgive you, come into your life and He will.  Then live for Him.  Get in a good church that really believes the whole Bible, and obey Him as an act of love.  Read your Bible daily.  Start in the book of John (in the New Testament).  This book talks about what the Disciple John saw as he walked with Jesus everyday.  It is an eyewitness account.  Try and find someone that will disciple you (help guide you in your new life of faith in Jesus).
