We can choose.....

we have so many choices in this world, don't we?  We can choose to eat at home or go out, we can choose to drive this car or that, we can choose to go to church or not, we can choose to.....you name it! 

Well, I find myself at times frustrated or even angry over something.  I realize though, I do have a choice.  I can choose to be frustrated and angry or I can choose to serve and pray.  What do I mean!  Well, years ago I remember getting frustrated with my husband for not putting his dirty socks and clothes in the hamper.  Then he had some close calls where he was at risk of losing his life.  You know what this taught me, to be thankful each time that I pick up those clothes (serve) and thank God (pray) that I still have my husband to pick up after.  This could be applied to numerous situations in life. 

So....what will you do today?  Choose to remain in the frustration, the disappointment of not getting things the way you want,  angry over not having "your rights" met, etc.   or   choose to serve whomever God has placed in your life and pray for them at the same time!  Pray for the spiritual well being, pray for things they are going through in life, pray for whatever needs they may have, etc. 

Today...I choose to serve and pray!  :)

G - sorry you couldn't read the response.  I was saying that we wanted to stop by and see you in October as we went up North, but we both ended up sick in bed and didn't get to go on our trip the first week.  We will try and get to see you soon though!  Love you guys!

Deblyn... I just found your site after you left a comment on mine.... I always enjoy your posts at the homestead forum... glad to have found your site. We think a lot in common... or at least based on some of our individual posts!!!
