Garden of your heart

Life is full of......

busy days for me!  :)  I have been working so hard around our home trying to declutter, organize, etc.  I think we are so close to having the home the way we want it to be while my husbands sister and family live with us.  I have a bit of cleaning and organizing to do in our bedroom which is kind of the "catch all" for items that cane out of the other two rooms.  The only thing left to do with those other two room is to clean the windows. 

My garden is doing so well.....and I am feeling so behind with weeding, picking, canning, etc.  That is why I haven't posted on my blog.  I am just trying to get to a point that I feel like I can stay caught up on this wonderful job of homemaking.  I sure love the privelege of being a homemaker and wife.  I thank the Lord for this.  I thank the Lord that my sweet and kindhearted husband is so patient as I try to accomplish monumental tasks around here this summer.  He doesn't complain, but just encourages me!  What a blessing!

I am enjoying re-reading the book "Lies Women Believe and the Truth that Sets them Free" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss.  I am also now doing the study that goes with it.  This is the Bible Study that I have chose for our ladies at church for the fall.  It is a great study and I have been spending lots of prayer time for it and for the ladies. 

I will try and be back soon to start making regular entries on my blog and sharing some things that God is teaching me and showing me through His Word in regards to the garden of my heart.  :)
